Compared to his initial asking price of $29.7 million, Trevor Noah recently sold his opulent Bel Air estate for $26.4 million.
Marc Bretter of Maywood Property Group handled the buyer, who is thought to be a celebrity and potentially an executive at HYBE America, the American division of a South Korean management company. It was impossible to get in touch with the listing agent, Jonah Wilson of Hilton & Hyland, for comment according to Dirt.
The contemporary box-shaped building, which was constructed in 2014, has six bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms spread out over three storeys and sits on over an acre of land. The house has a plethora of opulent amenities, including a formal dining room connected to a den, a gym, a library, a club room, and a wine room. The home offers a living room with a fireplace, German oak floors, and an eat-in island in the gourmet kitchen. The home’s whole back is covered with floor to ceiling glass windows that provide breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean.
A sizable infinity-edge pool, a Japanese-style spa with a wooden tub, sauna, massage rooms and changing areas, a fireplace chat pit and an outdoor pavilion with a bar and restaurant are all featured in the outside space. There is a theatre on the rooftop patio.
Noah, who has been hosting “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central since 2015, will keep living in his $10 million Manhattan apartment. He previously had another Bel Air property, which he purchased in 2018 for $20.5 million and sold to tech CEO Travis VanderZanden two years later for $21.7 million.
