Here are some African celebrities’ cribs in order of ascension with respect to the cost of their homes.
1. DJ Zinhle
DJ Zinhle is one of the most successful DJs in South Africa. A beautiful staircase links the ground floor to the upper floor of the two-storey house. The house has a walk-in closet where Dj Zinhle keeps her collection of expensive shoes and bags.
The interior of the house is so beautiful with a chandelier topped kitchen. There are several bedrooms which are decorated in nice colours. The floors in the dining and sitting area are in black and white. The couches are grey to match the grey and white walls.
There is also a balcony for her to relax while looking at the beautiful view it offers.
2. Don Jazzy

Earlier this year, Don Jazzy announced being the new neighbour of Pinnock Beach Estate in Lekki Nigeria. The music mogul who is known to own the Mavin Mansion otherwise known as “Mavin Creative Studios” which he unveiled in 2019 when he turned 37 years.
The new addition is a two-storey mansion which has a home studio for recordings
3. Timaya
The Dem Mama Records boss acquired the lovely edifice in the Lekki area of Lagos State in 2018. According to reports, he blew the dollar equivalent of N500 million on this property. Not much is known about Timaya’s house because he barely puts his private life out in public.
4. Casper Nyovest
Cassper Nyovest has one of the biggest houses in South Africa and never shies away from showing off to his fans. He records most of his content there. From ads, interviews and even some of his music. The crib is located in the wealthy neighbourhood of Kyalami in Johannesburg. It boasts a fancy pool, broad landscape and great views.
He reportedly paid ZAR 10 million ($661,590) for it in 2016.
5. Davido
Unline everyone on this list, Davido bought an apartment worth $1.5 million in — you guessed right — Banana Island. The area is known to be occupied by the affluent in Nigeria, it is reported that 36 occupants of the Island own private jets.
Davido bought one of the units in the ‘Giuliano de Medici’, designed and built by Sujimoto Construction. The building has a total of ten apartments with two penthouses on the rooftop and 8 other units on the floors below. It has a 3-car garage, a cinema and a general pool.
6. Asamoah Gyan
Asamoah Gyan’s $3 million dollar mansion christened “La Basilica de Baby Jet” is located on the hills of Weija in Accra Ghana. The position of the mansion offers stunning views of the Weija dam and its environs. The custom-built mansion had Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo who was the then-flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party to open the house for the first time.
7. Peter Okoye
We enter number three with the Banana Island mansion belonging to Peter Okoye, one half of the dynamic music duo P-Square. The mansion initially belonged to the two brothers until Paul moved out as a result of their split. It houses a studio, huge kitchen, a spacious compound for their luxury cars, an in-house cinema and a swimming pool in the backyard.

8. Linda Ikeji
Nigerian blogger and entrepreneur, Linda Ifeoma Ikeji comes in with her $5.5 million mansion. The three-floor house features 6 en-suite bedrooms a master suite with a separate walk-in closet/dressing room and a massive bathroom suite, 2 living rooms, media room, cinema room, gym room, laundry room, a fully fitted kitchen, with a large pantry. Two-room boys-quarters, a gatehouse, swimming pool, waterfall wall, changing room, cabana, and amazing water-view situated in the luxurious enclave of Banana Island.
9. Diamond Platnum
Diamond Platnumz is rumoured to have mansions like these scattered across the continent. He has a taste for big cars from Toyota Land Cruiser V8 to Escalades, therefore, he would love a bigger compound. The house is valued at $7 million — quite a good bargain for his money. 10. Adebayor
Emmanuel Adebayo’s Accra residence is quite a property to die for. The $15 million mansion boasts of a large compound with a swimming pool, an in-house cinema, a gym and many cool amenities.
Adebayor, 37, boasts an amazing array of cars which he keeps safely undercover at a custom-built hangar at his huge home in East Legon, Accra.
If you asked me to choose my favourite, I’d go for Cassper Nyovest’s mansion because he really got value for his money. The exterior and the greenery just does it for me.
